Twins at YSBK

Sorry for a boring topic, but...

I was wondering if anyone might know of anywhere people can hire out a Duchess at YSBK. The schools I use to fly these aircraft are no longer there.

Thanks in advance.

Bill Whitworth has one, but he uses it a lot of the time for IFR training and renewals. I've hired it from time to time, though.

Schoies used to cross-hire one - VH-ASA, I think. Other operators do the same with that aircraft, as I understand it.

C&H have one but won't let anyone near it.

Try GOAIR at BK. They have a couple for hire at reasonable rates.

ASA's own by Sydney Skydive right???

Regarding Basair, when I was driving around the airport at the beginning of the year, they had a few there....unless they're U/S now

So I understand - but I wouldn't recommend jumping out of it, with or without a parachute ...

Then again, I wouldn't recommend jumping out of anything that's still serviceable

Check the noticeboard at Eddy's (Flyers Cafe)....there's a couple on there for hire (or there were last week anyway when I was last down there...) that look pretty good. Rates (I can't remember what they were, sorry) were good and photos as well. Contact details provided for who to ring also etc...

It's still safe to drive there at the moment, I didn't see any parking meters out the front...

Yep, IIF was a great ol' bus. I did a stack of hours towards my CPL in her. Yep, sitting on cans at Camden. How sad.

What's with flying schools and their BE76s anyway? Hiring a chieftain at YSBK is easier for cryin' out loud.
