Weather datalinks in Oz?

Are weather datalinks available for flat screen panel displays and GPSs in Oz?

With a next G dongle and a tablet PC or possibly the new I-Pad you can either display or plug the video out into an aux panel mounted display to show internet based data. Very few locations in aus and I'd say none on the east cost dont have a good signal airborn. I know of a LOT of GA pilots who use their next G phones for radar images enroute.

We're still on 56 k dial up modems, so a long lead would be required..
