Melbourne accomodation wanted near Tullamarine

Dear Aviation enthusiasts.
I'm looking for accommodation near Tullamarine airport for the whole duration of February 2010 as I'm completing a course near there.
Obviously have looked at all the hotel and short stay websites and am wondering if anyone has or knows of any decent lodgings nearby for a clean, quiet UK expat.
Any help appreciated.

Call the helicopter flying school at Essendon (10 mins away) - they have access to some short-term accommodation.
