TOLL expansion to include 12 piston twins...

According to the job advertisement below Toll is expanding to open up new line maintenance activities which would include maintenance on up to 12 piston twins.

KORR - Aviation Recruitment Services : Site Home

Does anyone know a little more, like where and what the twins will be used for? (freight one would guess eh!)

Gee, GAM should be worried.... Numbers work out all too neatly for 3 aircraft each in Mel, Syd, Bris and Adl... Exactly what GAM provide for them right now.

There has been rumours of Toll buying GAM for over 12 months, now it maybe looks to be more than just rumour

Haven't seen the GAM 228s doing any Toll runs lately. I think they are based in Cairns for passenger work. However could it be possible that Toll Aviation is the supposed Australian buyer of the new RUAG Dorniers which are coming here?

Interesting post Mr. Spirax. You are hardly the pillar of posting success on here.

Why is it that 7 of your total 25 posts are aimed towards the moderators of this site, telling them that other posts are in appropriate?

junki, in a word, no it hasn't happenned yet. As far as I know, the GAM Shrikes are still sub-contracted to TOLL on the bank runs. Hope this helps
