Cool Instructor Shortage

With most of the majors cutting back or ceasing recruitment for the forseeable future can we assume the ranks of experienced instructors will again begin to swell.

Not for some time.

What we WILL see is Gr3 and Gr2 Instructors staying put longer.

The senior guys have moved on. Good Luck to them!.

Grade 3's

There will be fewer Grade 111's now because CASA wants to test everyone of them, no more ATO's for this task, not so many will be wanting to be tested by the authority.

I just wonder who's testing the casa test 'officers' a few of them could use a test or two, now continuity wouldn't that be nice.....

Why less G3's?

Why would there be less with CASA doing the testing?
It wasn't that long ago that every flight test was done by DCA/DOA/CAA/Casa.

So all thats happened is the wheel has turned a full circle.
After all your instructors instructor was tested by the authorities, and you are here.
