Does this mean he's no longer a Virgin?

From the ABC News web site.

Man convicted of masturbating on Virgin flight

Posted 7 hours 23 minutes ago (11 0529z)

A man who panicked a female passenger by masturbating on a Virgin Blue flight has been fined in the Darwin Magistrates Court.

Magistrate Tanya Fong Lim rejected Lucas Steven Knudson's claim he just undid his jeans and adjusted himself to be comfortable on an evening flight from Brisbane to Darwin in April.

She said Kununurra Primary School teacher, Simone Holt, had given clear straightforward evidence that she had seen Knudson masterbating, with his penis exposed, for several minutes in the aisle seat beside her.

Mr Knudson said he had just undone his fly while Ms Holt was sleeping, and kept his zip down to make himself more comfortable because his jeans were tight.

His defence lawyer, Vanessa Farmer told the court she was not suggesting Ms Holt was lying, rather she had just been mistaken about what she saw.

A flight attendant told the court when she went to help Ms Holt out of her window seat, past Knudson and brought her down to the galley, she was panicked and could hardly breathe.

The magistrate fined Knudson $2,500.

She said what he did was totally unacceptable to the community, particularly on an aeroplane.

Jesus YFA, and people said I was inflammatory for daring to suggest that some long haul crew were ignoring call bells on another thread...

I think calling Virgin crew that is a tad out of order, there are those in every job darling!!!

Nothing wrong with the IFE on DJ TBM, it's just that you have to wind it up yourself.

VB recruitment have a lot to answer for in this case.
They could learn a thing or two from QF recruitment policy. The only responsible thing to do is hire old boilers that have little chance of encouraging, let alone inducing, such a dispicable display of 'high spirits'.

YFA, please don't forget the male CC have been reported doing exactly the same on the 717's, in the galley as well, it hasn't been a year since the last one was shown the door, careful you maybe next.

Was that during the short period of the Links foray into Asian on-board cuisine, i.e. "Cream of sum yun gai" soup?

I hope he conducted a wrist assessment...

... but given the nature of the offence I would have expected a stiffer penalty
