Jetstar - the Good Oil?

I've read the T&C's and heard about some of the issues (eg. endorsement-did I get it right that they want you to pay for your recurrent training too?) I've had the HR/Recruitment line about times to the left seat but is there anybody out there working the line who's prepared to give their take on life at Jetstar? To the thread or to me would be very gratefully received!
Read peoples comments along the lines of, "what bizarre criteria are they using for recruitment, haven't heard anything...", had a similar and seriously frustrating time with Skywest.
Just trying to get home and I don't want to waste my time or theirs.
