Yeah, nah.. Even if you could prove the Brisbane line actually existed, it is not the Top End (interesting enough though is the presence of WW2 artiliary bunkers on the north end of Bribie Island)
But in an attempt to prove you wrong and myself right Mr Metro, it appears that I too was infact incorrect (note I did not say wrong. I am never wrong

The 'TOP END' is in fact a region of the N.T. Just like the Daintree in QLD or the Kimberely in W.A. It covers a rather vaguely-defined area of perhaps 400,000 square kilometres bounded by sea on three sides the Indian Ocean on the west, the Arafura Sea to the north, and the Gulf of Carpentaria to the east.
Sometimes this term is used in reference to the tropical regions of the Kimberley and the Queensland Gulf and Cape York area which is probably where I got the Broome Cairns line from

Towering, no job there mate just used to use the service station toilets to get changed and have a shave before fronting up with the 200 hr resume. Did the sums and worked out that i couldn't quite afford accom at that point in time so just made it work from the car.
