FLIR and other technologies for APEC conference
Does anyone know who will be using the FLIR and other technologies (and what they are) and how at the forthcoming APEC conference? Just doing some research for a project.

If you ring the Police Air Wing I'm sure they can give you the low down on all the security measures being used and the schedule of their flights as well...

I'll endeavour to answer this in a sensible fashion. I would anticiapte the poice airwing having the capability, along with the army Blackhawk's and maybe King Airs (?). Perhaps P3's as well? Not sure about other technologies though.

The army Blackhogs from the secret squadron have FLIR, RWIR and TI. The pigs do not have this technology yet and never will according to my sources.
The Blackhogs are also equipped with that gizmo that can see through cement buildings and let the operator keep track of what people inside are doing, saying and thinking.
You're probably seen it in an Arnie movie but it is real technology - cutting edge and very hush hush. The yanks have only lent it to us and are very jittery about the boys dropping it out the window accidentally like they did with those charts a few years back, up in ***** *****.
