B737NG vs A320, which is better ?

From a pilots point of view, which aircraft is better / better to fly ?

Particularly interested in people who have flown both types.

I would have thought that ONLY people who have flown BOTH types could possibly answer that question anyway.

The one that pays the most, gives a reasonable lifestyle, and has decent prospects.....
BTW I've flown neither, but I suspect that in Oz you aren't currently likely to get even 2 out of the 3 benefits mentioned above

Yes, sounds like common sense, but some people out there seem to "know it all" but actually don't - they have got opinions but no real facts, evidence or experience !!

I much prefered the 737 NG

Boeing has a better wing, better climb & feel.

Airbus has a better cabin but lesser performance in our operation.

I prefer the Boeing Magenta line as opposed the Airbus Green line.

The sidestick takes an hour to get used to but I still prefered the yoke.

Cat3 ops I felt were better in the Airbus. But the Hud on the NG is great.

Most of all I liked the trim wheel turning and power lever movement, both of which the Airbus does not have.

Call me old fashioned...........

no just call me old fashioned!

Yes but in Ansett they never flew the NG, therefore the A320 must be better..................
