H0ly cr4p Amazing how a decent zoom lens compresses a runway. But that's taking nothing away from the pilots' efforts - even if he did touch down prior to the threshhold!!

Just shows what a great machine the 757 is............
The aeroplane can be landed at MLW of 90 tonnes in ISA zero wind conditions, with a ground roll of about 2500 feet using max autobrake...do a 45 minute turn around, and depart off 4500 ft of runway at 105 tonnes..and fly 2500nm
What a machine...we do similar things going into the islands of Samos, Mikonos, and Skiathos in Greece.

If that was PNG they would have just sealed the side of the mountain and not bothered with the little flat bit.
