J* From referee check to start -how long?

Hi all,

Does anyone know how long it takes from when J* call your referees, until:

a. They offer you a job
b. give you a start date

Do they give you the job offer and then say - get here when you're rated?

Would appreciate it if anyone could shed some light on process for me.

Thanks

I think he has already decided and just needs to know how long he has to write up his resignation.

ShouldHe

After ref checks you should hear within a few weeks if you have been successful.

At present I've heard all new hires on the 320 will be starting from AUG onwards

Hope it helps!!

Also they don't expect you to turn up with an endorsment, they'll sort that out. Can go to AirNZ, or Alteon (MEL or BRIS)

Just curious where you got your information from. I know 3 guys starting in August an they are all on the A330. Going on to the A320 would change a few things for a few guys. What with Qantas about to recruit again soon.

Ahh could be wrong but thought the only DE 330 where previous 330 drivers or crz F/Os. Most new recruits go to 320
