Horizontal Waterfall, The Kimberley

Can you Kimberley locals help me? As the falls are caused by the tidal flow, what correction do I make to what tide chart to find out when they are at their most spectacular?
Some mates and I are doing a run through the Kimberley in a couple of months time.

Been a while but we used to wait about three hours after the turn to allow for the water to build up and give the best flow... Cant remember too well, but think it was the King Sound tide charts we used for flights out of Broome...

Look at koolan island and 1 hour either side of the tide change should give the best flow.

Thanks mate. Do you mean an hour either side of the top of the tide or the bottom of the tide?

Well Malcom Douglas cannoed through them.
Troy Dann (the Man) jet skied through them.
Some mad bugga was rumoured to have flown through them.
Impressive at high tide.
