I think the guy is absolutely full of himself BUT we all need to admit that if this individual was in Europe, the Middle East or Asia we would ask ourselves why he even has 600hrs TT.
Bare CPL holders with 200 hrs at any airline (LCC and legacy) CAN be trained up SUCCESSFULLY to fly jets – maybe it’s time we get this in our antipodean heads…
My 2 cents worth…

I wanna be an astranaut - does anyone know where I can buy a space shuttle rating? I'm willing to bond myself to NASA for a year or so if they spring for my training? Is there much of a jump from a 206 to the shuttle & do you need your ATPL's?

Mate its people like you that stuff it up for the rest of us. For those of us that can not afford to pay for hour endorsements we have to take the longer route where we gain experience. Its people like u that have made alot of airlines make people pay for endorsements. As the industry ischanging due to lack of pilots this thing that airlines have adopted by making us pay should change but no offence but its people like you that will slow that down.

All the same congratulation

Cool Proof,s in the PUDDING

Been watching threads like this for alongtime.
Yes (if) it,s true he has friends in high places and good on him for using that to his advantage.
But!.
To Prove the how good am i scenario. This at this moment in time is speculation and BS.
Let him post a piccy or 2 at the wheel of that A330.
Until then he,s just a tosser.
How good am i.(who does that?)
Remind me not to fly that airline --- even 1st class.

Until then the real pilots and people will keep the dream alive.(So we all don,t look like F*WTS!!!)

Safe flying.M

is the space shuttle classified as an experimental aircraft? and since is has all its engines on or very near the centrline, then im assuming you don't need multi engine endorsements?
seeing as it only carries cargo, then i don't think an ATPL would be necessary? but seeing as im only a lowly sub '000's hr ultralight pilot, im only experienced enough to apply for an airline job and not space flight just yet.

Thanks for all your very interesting posts!!!

Just a quick question, can anyone give me some advice that may help me on my line check. I'm due to complete this in the next few weeks.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Do you have any cash left?...put it in a brown envelope and "accidently" drop it next to the check captain..the going rate is half your 1st 6 months salary..it still pays to keep your speed down on short finals though..for some reason they're cracking down on that in Asia at the moment.
Good luck
