Smile Multi Crew Pilot Licence (MPL)

G'day to you all. I am just about to start my pilot training in Australia using the traditional training method, ie. PPL, CPL, then ATPL, and CASA has announced that the new type of flight crew licence MPL will be finalised in the second half of next year. Should I wait until next year and also will airlines prefer the new MPL or the traditional training method?

Unless you already have a cadetship with an airline, which has specifically said it will accept a MPL, go the traditional way.
