Jobs. Darwin/Alice Springs.
Just trying to get some info on charter jobs in Darwin, Alice Springs and their surrounds. Have Gr.2,MECIR and 800 hours, looking at moving in the next 2 months. I know the wet season is 2 months away would it be worth going up there??

I got to Darwin in Feb 2001 with 1000 hours-all instructing. No problems finding work. At the time-it was peaking work wise so a good time to be sniffing around. I reckon with your hours you would have no problems finding something. Mind you, have been out of the Darwin scene for a while.

Landing a gig in DN
160, might be a good idea, if you havent already, to get a B58 or C310 endorsement. I know their are a few companies who prefer this.
Some of the companies are moving into low-capacity RPT so your instructor rating will usefull.
