Question VISA problem of PPL training in Oz

Hi mates,

coz i don't have citizenship in Oz and only getting a Working Holiday Maker's VISA right now!(the Working Holiday VISA permit me to work no more than 3 months per job, let me easier to save money!! )

Anyone knows, do i need to apply/change to a student VISA before my PPL training start?

Thanks for all your reply!

Try contacting DIMIA and ask them.

The regulations on WH Visa are change now you can work up to 6 months and studying for 4 that time should be enough to get a PPL
otherwise you should apply to have a student visa (as me) then you could have a permission of work for 20 hours per week

Good Luck

Your flying school should do the paperwork for you and provide advice.

Really??
but my approval letter is :
MAXIMUM 3 MONTHS STUDY - 8201
While in Australia you must not engage in any studies or training for more than 3 months.

coz i have a 5-weeks english courses also.
So, 4 months is still not enough, i think!

... i think i have to change my VISA..
