U.K ATPL renewal

I am now living in Brisbane and am having some difficulty in gaining info from UK CAA as to whether or not I am able to renew my UK ATPL here in Oz or do I have to do the whole process in the U.K?
Is there a flying school in Adelaide(or elsewhere) which specialises in the UK/JAR Licence and could they help?
All suggestions particularly of those who have been down this road would be most appreciated.
Cheers

Green..it depends on whether your UK ATPL is a JAR ATPL..or the old UK one.

If its the old UK one...you need to do a JAR flightest (LPC...license proficiency test..on a JAR25 aircraft or approved sim)this will validate the old one up to JAR regs...me thinks

Contact CTC in Hamilton NZ, ask for the contact details of their examiner.
He renewed mine at the start of this year.
Did it in a NZ registered twin.
You will have to come to him unless you want pay for him to come to you!
Note it is him you have to talk to for the arrangements, not CTC.
