Hmm,

I reckon it's the northern end of the Grampians looking roughly south east with Mt Stapylton the closest lump. The ranges curve the wrong way to be viewed from the Dunkeld end.

YBCV today 4/3/09.

Vis about 1 km, 900ft vertical(according to Met).
Dust.

A 210 just lurked out of the dust.

That's close enough to 5k vis for me. To be honest, it looks like about 2-3.

When I flew in from the east this morning there was 10K+ vis. I wouldn't want to be fly'in
around in it now though, that dust wouldn't do the hairyplane engine much good at all!

Torres is nearly famous. He made the Western Times last week.
I still can't get my photo in it.

Scoop generally commits all names to memory, and then
drinks a fair few beers and forgets
a) the names
b)why he went there in the first place... and
c) what day of the week it is
