RQAC Gr.2 Instructors.

Just wondering what the situation is with RQAC instructor positions. I did phone them and were not prepared to say over the phone whether they were casual or fulltime positions. What they did say was to submit a CV and state if I wanted a fulltime or casual slot. Seemed to me they would prefer casual instructors. Does anybody really know what they want?

Not sure if this is kosher:

A mate's Son went through the process with RQAC.

The indication at the time was that RQAC prefer to only hire their own IRC candidates unless an Instructor has M/E IFR training approval.

Anyone?.

They were advertising for G2 instructors earlier this year but only for their academy and casual only.

I think the academy was called, Airline Professional Aviation Academy for Airline Pilots Aviation Flight Training Academy for Airline Professionals, or APAAAPAFTAAP.

out of breath.

Hey ,

i've just finished some training with RQAC, good bunch. Theres been lots of movements of people in the last couple of months with a few people moving on to bigger and better things. Good news is they are swamped with new students so i dare say AAA - Airline Academy of Australia would be interested in hiring some new instructers, especially the way they are expanding. Why not go have a chat with the CFI ?

good luck

CFI

Spoke to him twice over the last two week. Won't commit to what they really want except to say to lodge an application and the committee will decide.

If they only want casual staff perhaps they should spell it out. Some of us can't affort to hang around all day and hope to fly and not get paid if we don't.
