For all you F22 fans out there!
Magoodotcom, whoops........
I see fuel figures for the F-35 as 15,000lbs internal (unsure if that's exact?). Also unsure if that's F-35A or B....I've seen it quoted for both. However, I think that massive "APU" behind the pilots head takes up 4,000lbs of extra gas, so depending on which type the 15K applies, does that mean the A could hold ~20K or the B hold ~10K?
There doesn't seem to be many websites with credible info with specs, there are so many numbers flashed around.
Also see ferry figures for the F-22 as 2000nm. Just wondering how these "rough" figures stack up with your figures in comparson to the F-35? Hard to see if these "ferry" ranges include the optional external fuel tanks too.
