Geez Pak, I did 875 in the last twelve months. What does that make me? A lap dancer?

I only logged 750 last year

”My question is: is there any chance that an AU airline "nominates" and hires me?”

You could try independent migration but as a pilot, non skills in demand occupation, I suspect the point system will beat you.

Don't give up your jet job when you get one. As for Jetstar the current applicants are typically offering command Airbus time with 7-15,000 hrs jet, all multi crew, EFIS, widebody experience, etc.
Having said that, however, many applicants are just fishing so you never know your luck.
