anybody out there know anything about converting a nz cpl to faa standards

BTU......yes mate,I did just exactly that,back in 1979,things have changed for sure.It is not hard at all,you do the written test(FAA) and then do the commercial flight test,you will be credited with your flight time(which you have to prove).....heres the problem,.

After 911,many things have changed,even those of us who have green cards,and have been flying here for many years are running into a lot of red tape,it is becoming increasingly harder to fly here without citizenship.Luckily,kiwi allows dual,so for many, it has become the only option,since the hassles are many.
