Question Virgin - What the???

I hear from numerous people that virgin has recently interviewed a heap of applicants.

It seems all interviewed recently are mid 20's and have below the 3000TT mark from GA.

Great if your in your 20's and have 4000+TT. Apparently too much experience is once again a detriment to your career.

Not much growth = long time in RHS = unhappy pilots.

Low time pilots will expect and be happier in the RHS in the medium term than high time.
Morale will be higher for a short term at least and also able to mould them into "VIRGIN" pilots easier than experienced guys.

Yeah!!!!...you got that right...what a f@#$%d industry...so they better hope that VB will be there for a long time, as no one would want an unemployed experienced VB pilot....

So how many blue stars does it take at the moment to get that elusive interview? I'm hearing anything from one to five. Maybe someone who actually works there could shed some light. As it happens, I know quite a few guys at VB for whom I have a great deal of respect and admiration. Unfortunately, these are guys whom I have not had any contact with for quite a few years, and thus out of respect for them I feel it would be inappropriate to just burst onto the scene out of the blue, expecting to get their endorsement. Still, there must be a way...
