just watched a show on Burt Rutan and space ship one.
What a team. What a man. What a visionary. What an achievment.
If there were a few more men like him, the private aviation sector might be a far more advanced place.

I saw that as well. brilliant documentary, after watching it i went to the discvovery website and ordered the dvd........ and fantastic footage! the records broken were amazing
Hand flying at over Mach1 no computer control here! nothing but good old fashioned stick and rudder mechanical flight control... higher than the X15s and re-entry without heat buildup...
i loved the M&Ms bit all while trying to figure out if he still had an intact aircraft with him...

fantasticeffort by all. if only there were more like him. truley one of the greats...
