Hi all
Im a CPL pilot about to finish university this semester and aware of the difficulities in getting first jobs in Aus and toying with the idea of going over to the U.K (where i have family i could stay with for nothing) and obtain a ATPl equivalent in the JAA system. Jobs then i assume would be easier to come by whilst also enjoying travelling!! Does anybody think this is a crazy idea?
Thoughts positive or negative appreciated

Its what I did a few years ago....its worked out for me.
JAA exams, 14 of them, £2000-2500 to study, another £400-500 to sit the exams.
Flying £10-12000 to convert your Oz license.
If you can live with that, and the 8-12months it will take to convert, then opportunities exist.
