Does anyone have any ideas on when VB will start to hire again, things have been very quite for almost 12 months now!!!. How are the load factors?? and the new routes, like hammo island going??

Recruitment has never completely stopped, just flatened out as was expected once the intended level was reached. There are currently 12 FOs under training and I believe another 4 have been hired also. With quite a number of retirements over the next 12 to 18 months plus another 2 AC this year, there will always be a slow level of hiring. Regards SS

George - I'd guess that 75% of the FO's are over 30. Possibly 15% of those would be around or above the 40 mark.

A massive glut of guys in the left seat in their 30's.
