william creek is a small settlement west of Lake Eyre.
wrightsair owns a house and accomodation complex for their staff. there is a pub and a cafe. dirt road in both directions. cool to cold in winter, hot to very hot in summer. they run up to 7 aircraft out of william ck at the height of the tourist season.
i haven't worked for trevor but have met him a few times there, during the course of our own business out that way.
he has given a lot of newbies a start. would appear to run a good ship.

Hi Aussie,
Been there done that.
whats you interest in William Creek?
I worked for trevor for a while out at William Creek, it was a good first job experience....life experience.
I saw trevor recently and he said WC was very quite...no water in Lake Eyre.
Excellent facillitys and Aircraft, and alot of fun (for a limited time).
But very remote, except for the grooveygrape bus load of backpackers. The pub has to be seen to be belived..
all in all a big thumbs up...

Did a few laps around the pond myself a few years ago.Based with another company in the Metrpolis of Maree.
Met Trev a few times and have to say he,s a genuine down to earth guy. Based in Coober Peedy in a good year when the lake fills it,s flat out!.Good experience allround
Cheers

Does depend on where you are are what you're predominantly doing with the aircraft, but some only do 2-300 while bush in seasonal outfits, while others experience up to 900-1000 hrs worth of commerce a year.
Varies as much as that, but I would think the norm (educated guess) to be somewhere around 6-700 hrs p.a.

Aussie, check your PM's.
If you speak to Trevor or Adam Wright, say G'day from Dave (from Alice). You could do a lot worse for a low time first job.
Regards,
OpsN.
