Aussie IR renewal overseas? possible?

Hi Ppruners,

Been lurking around for a while so I figured I may as well post to see if anyone could help with a question.. - Looked in in the CAR/CAOs and couldn't find anything useful.

I am currently in UK and running out of IR validity in about 3 months. Has anyone had experiences with doing Australian IR renewals overseas?. Is it possible, or must it be done in Australian territory?.

Thanks for any ideas!..

I think it is only possible if a CASA approved testing officer conducted the test (in the UK or where ever) to CASA CIR renewal standards etc.
