Carnet Cards

The swipe cards for fuel are called "Carnet Cards"

Blatently French, anyone got a english meaning/translation?
hmmmm, thoughts.......

I think it was translated as "notebook". Long time ago... Have you ever been taught french by an irishman with a terribly strong accent?
