Square Bear. You assume a few things that are entirely incorrect. And that is, I came straight to PPRuNe and didn't bother to:
1. Look for the information in the relevant documents.

2. Ask my endorser as we were in fact inspecting the aircraft (including BOTH wheel wells) during the endorsement.

3. Ask the CP, the CFI or the LAME.

This IS the "QUESTIONS" section of Dunnunda & Godzone. I LIVE and WORK as a pilot in "Dunnunda." Appart from the one or two PPruners, the majority have been not only very helpfull, but warm-hearted and supportive. (5 Left & Right...thanks.)

Now, even though I already mentioned it in my second post, I'll mention it again. The seat buttons are no longer on the seat. Neither is the connection between the buttons and the gas struts. NO BUTTONS...NO ADJUSTMENT. I have done absolutely all I can to answer the questions that I have, INCLUDING using PPRuNE, Dunnunda & Godzone "Q-U-E-S-T-I-O-N-S."

Icarus2001, bush mechanics , Capt Claret, Woomera, Spotlight (we DID in fact spend quite a while sitting on our arses looking at U/C, that's actually when I noticed the CB's.) , thanks for your input and info.

126.9,
It is quite feasible that the person posing the question has taken said question to his relevant bosses as well as posed it here.
Extremely well put, mate. (as was the rest of your post). I wonder why no-one else considered the possibility that i'd done my homework before posting here...........

Devil

Experience tells me that, no matter what you post on the PPRuNe, 80% of responders will keep to the subject and give an honest and / or educated opinion. The other 20% will attack you, mix your words, contradict you, insult you and / or generally just try and get under your skin. So I let 'em; they're nothing but toilet paper to me mate.

It was a great question and even had me (haven't flown a piston engine in many years) doing some research out of interest. And, I do believe that it's the stupid pilots that don't bother asking for help where they know that they can get it!
