Bringing this back to the top.

Come on, some one must have had an Air New Zealand interview some time this decade! What do their interviews detail. Is it anything like the Cathay interviews?

Any tips would be great/

Cheers

I took the interview in April so I don't think much has changed. I also think that with the new hires Freedom is fully crewed unless there are more leaving.

Basic F/O Pay approx $46,300 + $4 p/h duty pay
Basic SF/O Pay approx $57,000 + $4 p/h duty + productivity
Basic Capt Pay approx $103,000 + $4 p/h duty + productivity

Interview is over four days.
Day 1 - sim check - raw data, VOR/NDB tracking and holds, ILS, steep turns and general handling
Day 2 - two exams - planning (day in the life of disrupted airline crew!) and a tech exam (general ATPL questions)
Day 3 - interview with two ANZ pilots, interview with shrink
Day 4 - group exercise (public speaking, decision making etc)

Also think that new pilots are interviewed Freedom Air management pilots but not sure.

Good Luck.

Freedom are still after 1 or 2 more F/Os.

Air NZ basic for 73 F/O (& S/0's) about +/- $16,000 more than Freedom. (+ allow) (But you don't have to pay for the rating)

Still, if Ace From Space checks his personal messages......
