VC10 at East Midlands

Hi Guys,

A very quick question for you all.... Anyone know why there was a VC10 at East Midlands Airport yesterday (28th Jan).

Sorry it's not the most exciting question.... I was just wondering!

Thanks

Not half!

Don't expect a response from anybody at Brize - their typing fingers have all been chopped off.

So, does anyone know the answer then? Come on Brize boyz.... There must be one of you who knows why it / they were there?

I've been set a challenge of finding out why they were there, and this is my only chance!

Cheers, and happy landings....

Er, I don’t think so…. Maybe….. But I doubt it! War in the gulf = VC10’s at East midlands? I cant see the coloration there. Correct me if I’m wrong!

Grob driver - I don't wish to state the bleedin' obvious, but East Midlands is an airport which can process passengers, and the VC10 can carry passengers etc etc

Good luck with your quest....

You might have hit the nail on the head....squaddies brought over from Germany to support the Midlands Firemen get their 40% payrise.

There's a museum there isn't there? Probably a delivery for the display, or just simply broken.
Looking forward to when ashtrays become cheaper when they finally smoulder the decrepid waste of aluminum. You do the math.
