Unfortunately the linked article is in Czech and also behind a paywall…. After stopping an arsonist, Czech police discover that Russia is running Telegram groups in EU countries offering locals money to commit arson and sabotage on factories, infrastructure and public transportation.

Full terrorism.

Same old game just as it was from the Cold War - state-sponsored terrorism against the West. Just a random reference to a paper written in 1982 - https://ojp.gov/ncjrs/virtual-librar...list-republics.

The added problem is that, since the early 90's with Russians able to travel with freedom, the ability for "sleeper cells" to be set up globally has been much easier and the support Putin had/has from with the Russian communities was clearly seen particularly in Germany at the start of the the war with Ukraine.

Poland has now received both Saab 340 AEW early warning aircraft it bought from Sweden for USD 60 million.

Their radar systems cover more than 450 km and will offer the country new capabilities it never had.

This story has been bouncing around the news feeds today:
Armenia's Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who has repeatedly snubbed Russia, said in parliament on Wednesday that he will take his country out of the Moscow-led CSTO alliance, the Associated Press reported. Pashinyan said his government would decide later when to make the move, according to the AP. Experts previously told Business Insider that Putin founded the alliance — made up of Russia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan — as a rival to NATO, and that he wanted to project power by leading a multinational body, despite most of the members not having notable militaries or large economies. However, the plan seems to have backfired as tensions among the alliance have grown, especially since Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
In Armenia's case, the lack of Russian support as regards Ngorno Karabach was probably the deal breaker.

Interesting that the map lists the city as Danzig instead of Gdansk

Think it just depends where FR24 thinks you're based, presented in your national parlance; Cologne/Koln and so forth.

(Incidentally, didn't see much unusual about the flightpath, happens quite often with UK/US intel gatherers and Rivet-Joiners).

🇷🇺 This is the mighty Kazan nucular submarine, Russia's latest and greatest weapon, visiting Cuba.

Its technology is so ahead that it can detach the soundproofing panels that insulate the hull while navigating, deafening the sonar operators of Western submarines.

Brilliant.

Sky News:

Denmark considering blocking Russian oil route to Baltic Sea

Denmark is considering ways to limit the passage of tankers carrying Russian oil from flowing through the Baltic sea.

Speaking today, the Nordic's country's foreign minister, Lars Lokke Rasmussen, has brought together a group of allied countries to evaluate the outcomes of the move.

Russia sends about a third of its seaborne oil exports - which equates to around 1.5% of global supply - through the Danish straits. This passage acts as a gateway to the Baltic Sea, so any attempt to halt supplies would send oil prices higher and hit the Kremlin's finances.

The move could trigger confrontation with Russia, though it's something that Denmark has been preparing for.

Earlier this month, the country raised the threat level for destructive cyberattacks against companies and authorities, saying Russia was showing an increasing willingness to take risks to carry out hybrid attacks.

Its government has also asked citizens to prepare for an attack or other potential crisis by stockpiling supplies of water, food and medicine.

99% chance that Russians have just blown up another ammo depot in Czech Republic.

Czech Armed Forces reporting.

Not sure that's wise - it could be used as an example of a lot of other places - Singapore, Red Sea, Boshporus, Gib., Taiwan Straights.........................

There are reports suggesting the explosion took place during training of ammunition technicians. No mention of any potential Russian involvement.

When you see RN submarines that have spent some time at sea they can be missing some tiles.

Sounds strange to me, as no mention of this in Danish news. Wish it were possible without major implications, but don't think it is. I think this falls under "innocent passage".

Thanks- I didn’t realize that the Germans actually called it “Danzig”, especially since Kaliningrad wasn’t listed as Koenigsberg (sp?) on that map
