Considering the photograph, i can imagine two polarised responses.

• Those with no real interest in joining the RAF (or other armed forces) who feel however that the forces should reflect the full alphabet soup of societal sexual possibilities, irrespecitive of actual numbers/percentages.
• Those areas of society likely to provide the lions share of recruits who despair at the apparent virtue signalling and the lack of basic personnel support and equipment necessary to do the job that they joined up for.

So, serious question, is the RAF ploughing a lone furrow towards a dead end or are the same developments being seen in other countries forces.

Can anybody spot the faint flow of a gold VRT badge on the Flt Lt rank slides? I honestly can’t tell. I also felt the WO looked slightly older than your average RAF WO and couldn’t quite make out his insignia either.

Just idle questions you understand. No other agenda.
