It's amazing how the battle field has changed since the introduction of drones. It seems that pretty much all troops, armored vehicles, et al are known and constantly watched, with drone attacks on even single soldiers. If the numbers are even close, the recent Russian losses of meat are astounding, approaching 30,000/month killed and wounded, not to mention tanks and armored vehicles. What the hell? The Russians thought this would be a walk but finally Europe and the US are reacting (I hope).

A Russian soldier revealed the true meaning of the offensive near Volchansk.

According to him, this is nothing more than another meat grinder, where untrained Russian soldiers are sent under machine guns and drones and are not allowed to retreat. Result: one after another, groups are simply destroyed, and new ones come to replace them.

In the company of this soldier, contract soldier Anton Andreev from the 5th company of the 1009th regiment, only 12 people out of 100 remained.

At the same time, he realizes that orders to his superiors come from Moscow, and they also cannot do anything about it.

Just watching Denys Davidov's YT channel this morning and he quoted Russian losses of 38 940 for May: greatest number in this war so far.and compared this to Russia's Afghanistan losses of 18 000 over 10 years.

If ever an army needed to realise who their real enemy was.

Ukraine will be able to strike Russia using the 24 F-16 Jets sent by the Netherlands (Politico).

Some weapons Ukrainian F-16s could use on Russia include: JSOW Glide Bombs, HARM Anti-Radar Missiles, AMRAAM Air-to-Air Missiles, JDAM-ER Glide Bombs, and Small Diameter Bombs.

Russian Telegram:

“we often see military equipment at the front tuned with metal meshes. The chain-link mesh creates a protective space over the car from enemy drops, and has already saved many lives.”

Those cope cages mean just one thing, like a wedding cake.
Everyone gets a bit, whether they want some or not.

I find it hard to imagine what difference there is going to be between a warhead detonating two feet above the roof of your vehicle or simply on it.
Still, if the thought keeps orcs running scared and wasting time and resources it's doing a useful job.

Seems like all that motorcycle cage will do is cause the drone to explode two feet further away - that sure would be a big help......
