French military advisors are on route to Ukraine. Though the picture shows Brits, no doubt we will get blamed again by Russia.

101 vehicles obliterated yesterday.
way above average. Seems like UKR has been hittimg logistics in the rear yesterday. US approval for hitting military targets within Russia was utilized and targets were readily chosen. Very good.

The Kerch Bridge possibilities were discussed a couple of years ago, with many following the ancient Chinese art of war philosophy of leaving a route open for your enemy to flee.
The bridge may still be just be strong enough to hold cars, and possibly a light train, but Russians in Crimea will have to leave most of their heavy equipment behind.

35 missiles and 46 drones were shot down during tonight’s Russian big missile attack on Ukraine. Air-, sea-, and land-based missiles, as well as "Shahed" were used by Russians.

In total, the Russians launched 53 missiles of various types and 47 attack UAVs:
- 35 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles from Tu-95 MS (launch area - Saratov Region, Caspian Sea);
- 4 Iskander-M ballistic missiles (from Crimea);
- 1 "Iskander-K" cruise missile (from Crimea);
- 10 Kalibr cruise missiles (from the northeastern part of the Black Sea);
- 3 Kh-59/Kh-69 guided air missiles (from the Zaporizhzhia region);
- 47"Shahed-131/136" (Prymorsko-Akhtarsk launch area).

81 air targets were shot down:
- 30 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles;
- 4 Kalibr cruise missiles;
- 1 "Iskander-K" cruise missile;
- 46 "Shahed-131/136".

The second image shows a map of today's Russian attack on Ukraine. Once again, Stryi, where Ukraine’s largest underground gas storage facility is located, becomes the primary target of the attack.

How do you think that fella feels about his military aged countrymen that have fled the country he was fighting for and are now hiding all over Europe ?
Former Soviet state sends military aged males to every capital city in Europe. What could possibly go wrong ?

These were the Belgian AF's QRA, callsigns AL01/AL02. Certainly not flown by pilots from the Ukraine as much as people would love this to be true.

Jetblast is a place for general tin foil hatting.

I was in the understanding that this thread is for directly linking Ukraine war discussion..

On topic: drone wars is something that evolves in a very rapid pace. All eyes on these technologies.

Hmmm, let’s wait and see. Presumably manned flights still have fighter escorts.

🤡🤡🤡 Love the 11 aircraft and 4 helicopters but. How many times have they shot down the Ukrainian Air Force now?

Damn. The new, non-corrupt, honest Russian minister of defence says Ukraine lost 35000 people in May, in addition to 290 tanks and hundreds of other equipment. Dude's got a good start.

Ukrainian defenders report about a Russian attack between Vuhledar and Novomykhailivka:

“The boys repelled a large assault between Vugledar and Novomykhailivka. A lot of AFVs were involved. 5 units of AFVs were burned.

 In nutshell: "burning Russians were running across the field."

How did you make the link?
I reviewed many posts of Grimweasel, trying to find something about his links with Russia. With no success.

GrimWeasel, I'll report your post and ask that it be moved to the Jet Blast thread about the Russia/Ukraine war.
The Israel/Palestine thread is locked.
Please don't pollute this thread again, as we do not care for excessive Mod attention here.
OK?

Apparently the irony is lost upon the Sergei "the blob" Lavrov. For 2 1/2 years Russia invades a neighbour flying their aircraft, missiles, and munitions over sovereign territory that Russia has no sovereign rights to, in brach of their undertaking as a UN signatory. They conduct genocide, in breach of international law, and generally conduct war crimes which for Russia is just called Thursday. And someone defending themselves with the right of the law, international conventions, and the moral high ground gets whinged at by "lava lips"? Perhaps he should stick to supping his Vodka and watching Russia's future circle the drain, after all, he and his mate Pukin pulled the flush chain. As a metaphor, that however falls flat into the mud, Russia is a far step back from being a country with sanitation, it is merely moving in the direction of sanitariums for its returning future Lada owners.

Look at this design…. Closely…..

1. Clamshell hangars are BEST positioned in the middle of a ramp, allowing drive thru ability. These are butted against the back ramp.

2. Even backed up, there’s no room for jets to manoeuvre along the taxiway, especially if another crew chief is out front of another spinning up jet.

3. The RIGHT answer would have been to covert the middle grass area to ramp. Russia didn’t do that, likely out of haste, laziness, or both.

Seems like a target of mirth & delight. Take out the buildings at each end... bozo the clown didn't leave room for the aircraft to move along in front or behind the hangers. Seems only reasonable to oblige showing the folly of their architecture.
