Wow, big change in that Finland gives Ukraine authorisation to use Finnish provided weaponry on Russian territory.

More on the Ukrainian sea drones.
Latest package from sweden included “underwater weapons”, torpedo 47 from SAAB weights 340kg. USV would need some modifications, but probably doable with some Ukrainian ingenuity.

Another Moldovan region has asked for "Russia's protection."
Gagauzia is a small autonomous region within Moldova. In fact, it is three small cities (including the capital, Comrat) and a little more than 20 villages in the south of the country.
In the summer of 2023, Moscow succeeded in electing a loyal leader of the autonomy - Yevgenia Gutsul from the pro-Russian ȘOR Party. Actually, party support is all that voters knew about her - and high trust in Russian propaganda. This was enough for victory.
Even then, experts noted that by gaining official control over a region loyal to Russia, the Kremlin would move to destabilize Moldova.
The head of Moldova's autonomous region of Gagauzia, Yevgenia Gutsul, arrived in Moscow today. She met with Valentina Matvienko, chairman of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation.
Gutsul said that the rights of the region "are oppressed by Moldova, it crosses all borders, and the region asks for Russia's support."
Moldovan President Maia Sandu earlier reported that Gagauzia is undergoing a large-scale propaganda campaign by Moscow against the country's leadership and EU benefits.

Ukraine: Fighting for Freedom and Democracy for us all? Hardly. It can be regarded as russia-lite, with 70 percent of the corruption, fascism, poverty and skulduggery.
"Desperate for money and men, Ukraine is using violent press gangs to snatch soldiers from the streets"
For those that will scoff that it's the Daily Mail, check out the authors credentials and pro Ukrainian articles all over the place. In fact he ends his piece with the usual canard that H̶i̶t̶l̶e̶r̶ Putin will attack the west after Ukraine.

Next week is too long to wait, they have downed another TODAY!
"Desperate for money and men, Ukraine is using violent press gangs to snatch soldiers from the streets"
Seeing the powerful verbal approach I'm wondering though how they would want to spread it in practical terms!?
Their friends and troops there are -to put it mildly- in a prone position. And help would have to come via Air through Ukraine defended Airspace or through Sea via a heftily decimated and vulnerable Russian Black Sea fleet. Opening them up for a Turkey shoot in both cases.

They probbaly want to create false justification to continue the SMO to new directions then.
Just wait and see, soon they'll start talking of "the nazis in Chisinau" and "biolabs in Moldova". Then it'll be the Transnistrians asking for "help" and so forth. In the end Russia has reached one NATO border again and start talking how NATO is threatening mother Russia by expanding to east. Cynical? Maybe.
EDIT: Forget my comment about cynicism, it has already started: Lavrov says that "situation in Moldova is identical to Ukraine".
Take it as a fact: If Ukraine falls or Russia reaches Odesa, Moldova will be attacked by Russians. No IF.

Note that this isn’t a claim that anyhting has been shot down - just a report that another flight comprising a SU-35 escort and 2 Su-34 bombers has been engaged and awaiting confirmation of the result.
There has just been a combat use of anti-aircraft guided missiles against two 🇷🇺Russian Su-34 fighter-bombers and a Su-35 fighter in the eastern direction, — Commander of the Air Force of 🇺🇦Ukraine Oleschuk.

ISW:
Russian state-owned defense conglomerate Rostec Head Sergei Chemezov stated on February 29 that Rostec plans to produce A-50 long-range radar detection aircraft on an unspecified schedule because Russian forces require more A-50 aircraft.[77]
Ukrainian forces have shot down two Russian A-50 aircraft so far in 2024, and Ukrainian officials have reported that Russian forces only have six A-50 aircraft remaining.[78]
Russia’s defense industrial base (DIB) will not be able to produce new A-50 aircraft quickly since many of the A-50’s component parts are not readily available.[79]

It does show how ineffective and disregarded Scholz is in the Germany military and the country as a whole. I will be surprised if he remains in power much longer.

This is Russian psyops to destabilize Germany just at the right moment. Confusing to learn that German top level topics are discussed using "open" web conference calls by military leaders.

A Ukrainian Bradley that took 2 ATGM hits and survived due to its defence protection. No wonder the Ukrainians love them.
