I thought at first this was to do with the EU (Switzerland not being a member state), but it can't be that. Hungary and Slovakia are also red, as well.

I don’t know whether to feel sorry for him, or wish him harm.

Two technical questions: are those foot bandages in lieu socks, and is that a pale bum or grubby shreddies?
Asking for a friend of course.

I know Orban is vocal about sanctions to Russia and not yielding to stop gas imports, don't know about Slovakia, but I am fairly certain Austria and Switzerland are not in pro-Russia camp, unless there is something I don't know about.

I am surprised this is not happening a lot more. Especially in Z units. Overall, Russian commanders are still able to instill discipline using terror. Are Russian soldiers so numb?

Austria has a gas-supply treaty valid until 2040. Currently taking 60%-80% of their supply from Russia.

Following article " How Austria became Russia's. fortress in the EU " First sentence is "Austria supports EU import restruiictions, but doesn't want to damage its long-term, lucrative business interests with Russia. Russia is the second-largest foreign investor in Austria."

Presumably Switzerland is included because they are insisting on their neutrality, as they have in refusing to supply - or allow the resale of - Swiss armaments to Ukraine. Hungary and Slovakia both have pro-Russian governments (Slovakia since recent election )

Even so, colouring them red will surely encourage Russia more than shame those countries.

Sending Ukraine more systems like Patriot may be of more importance than anything else as the winter slows down fighting on the Eastern fronts, with the commensurate switch of Russian tactics we've recently seen. Russia's bound to resume targeting Ukrainian energy infrastructure and cities this winter. It's already getting cold in Ukraine, and winter's only just beginning.

Which I hope to see Ukraine return in spades and blitz Moscow’s power and heat infrastructure, having started drone production.

That should give all pause for thought.

As neither Mod nor Admin
Consider whose twitter post that was: someone from Lviv, which is in Ukraine.
They might feel more strongly than you do about those who are not being supportive of Ukraine. (The Swiss block on some weapons transfers probably still burns).
"If you aren't with us you are against us" looks like the sentiment being expressed.

The Swiss have agreed to transfer some of their tanks from Switzerland to Germany on the agreement they are not sent to Ukraine, however they can be used to backfill any Countries own stocks, who have supplied their own to Ukraine. So they have eased their position.

Avdiivka advances shown over a time period, the amount of losses for the actual ground taken is a pittance.
