True to some extent. I do solo mountaineering stuff and clothing and layers (and staying dry) are critical. Having said that, living in a muddy and freezing trench with constantly wet boots and socks et al for weeks or months on end and it becomes more than a matter of clothing.....

Armenia will transfer Tochka-U tactical ballistic missile systems and Osa-AK anti-aircraft missile systems to Ukraine, Russian source Rybar claims.
According to Rybar, agreements on this may have been reached during a meeting between Armen Grigoryan, Secretary of Armenia's National Security Council and Ukrainian president’s powerful chief of staff, Andrii Yermak with the assistance of the Americans.
The exact number of available launchers and missiles is unknown: according to open sources, there were at least three, but according to Rybar, several more modernized Tochkas were transferred to the Armenians by Russia.
And all of them, along with an impressive ammunition supply (up to 200 missiles), could end up in Ukraine.
At the same time, the White House is actively pushing the issue of transferring the Osa-AK anti-aircraft missile systems, which are in service with the Armenian Armed Forces, to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Their number, taking into account losses in the Second Karabakh War, can be up to 30-40 units.

One muscovite chose not to go to war. Apparently he chose the only other option available for a regular Ivan.
A 23-year-old Muscovite shot himself at a shooting range after receiving a summons. Before his death, he wrote to friends that he did not want to go to war. Today he was supposed to arrive at the military registration and enlistment office

So, Vlad, how's the plan going so far?
Door #1: a 72-hour SMO, met with garlands of flowers from a gratefully "freed" populace, happy to receive the mir of Vlad in contrast to those pesky national socialists with a funny march and salute;
Door #2: out of Ladas to give away, out of body bags, grovelling to NOK to give aid and comfort to the Kremlin, a collection of bodies underneath open windows, and the 2nd greatest military force inside the Moscow beltway. Retirement looking grand.

Great fleas have little fleas upon their backs to bite 'em,
And little fleas have lesser fleas, and so ad infinitum.
And the great fleas themselves, in turn, have greater fleas to go on;
While these again have greater still, and greater still, and so on.

Tabs please !
To clear up any confusion, I was referring to the Ukraine land war and the relative disparity between western and Russian supplied kit. We should be doing all we can to widen the gap in terms of capability and effectiveness.
Having waterproof boots and a spare set drying while you wearing another, will make a huge difference. Quality with quantity.

Err.. not what one would call a prospective home.
Russia's Devastating New Weapon Hits Enemy Positions in War's First: Video (newsweek.com)
It would appear that the Russians have some cluster munitions, and they are using them.
The article describes a "glide bomb" whose warhead has cluster munitions.

Two of Vladimir Putin’s senior security officials have suffered serious injuries after a car bombing.
Deputy interior minister Lt-Col Oleg Shumilov and criminal investigations chief Lt-Col Vladimir Pakholenko are both fighting for their lives following the blast.
The incident happened in the Ukrainian city of Luhansk, which is under Russian occupation.
Footage from the scene shows an inferno raging from the UAZ Patriot vehicle after it blew up.

Video diary of a russian occupier:
“I don’t know what’s here, but the 200s [eliminated occupiers] are everywhere, fиcked up, on every fиcking corner. All of them in their armor are lying here in burnt heaps. Yesterday we lost 4 tanks, 7 or 8 armored personnel carriers, and not counting how many infantry fighting vehicles there are... And it’s all simple on an area of 100 by 100 meters.’’
He also says that out of 30 people, 5 from their group are still alive and cluster munitions are flying at them.
