No point hitting the ones under construction in the docks, it's far better letting Russia expend money, time, manpower and resources in building them, then when they float the near completed ships as with the one they just destroyed, hit them then.
The amount of missiles used in the strike may have resulted in one ship destroyed, but far more damage has been done, as Russia are now aware they facilities are at threat as is the nearby bridge and need to strengthen the defences.

I'm still confident Ukraine will prevail, it would be nice to have NATO air support over Ukraine, at least close to the front lines.

As to NATO support for Ukraine in the air: since before the Russians crossed the L/D in Feb of 22, and ever since, there have been air sorties flows which support the Ukraine Armed Forces. I will let you think over what kind of air assets those may be.
Why all 29 to 31 NATO governments have chosen not to cross into the war zone with strike aircraft is best answered from each Capital. (In Iceland's case, they don't have the forces to offer ...)

Lavrov's plane was denied access to the airspace of Northern Macedonia where the OSCE ministerial meeting will take place, Agence France Presse informs.
Lavrov asked for permission to participate in the meeting of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in Skopje. Budjar Osmani, Foreign Minister of Northern Macedonia, reportedly specified that his country would not be able to host the Russian delegation's plane.
At last year's OSCE ministerial meeting, which was held in Poland, Warsaw refused to let Lavrov into the country. The step caused outrage in Moscow.

⚡️ France has disrupted Russia's participation in the 42nd session of the UNESCO General Conference in Paris by not issuing visas to representatives of the Russian delegation.
Or the dry dock gates. Anyone got an old destroyer they don't need anymore?

First F-16s from the Netherlands arrived in Romania to train Ukrainian and NATO pilots.
The first five F-16 fighter jets of the Royal Netherlands Air Force have landed at the Fetesti Air Base in Romania to train pilots from Ukraine and NATO countries at the European Training Center (EFTC), the Dutch Defense Ministry announced on November 7.

About an hour ago, the AFU struck the Russian UAV training center in Donetsk.
AFU sources state the the Russian website recruiting drone pilots had the address of the training center.

So now, Russia cares about the UNSC, they don't when they are commuting acts of aggression on others. Not just bullies and criminals, but whining ones at that. They can always avoid the embarrassment of their hand puppet at the UN by leaving Ukraine and going home, they didn't get the memo that they are not welcome. That however would affect the production demand for Ladas that has sprung up since 24 Feb 2022, maybe their dear leader has shares in Lada.

EU expected to start process of Ukraine and Moldova becoming member states
The EU is expected to fire the starting gun on the process of Ukraine and Moldova becoming member states, with a report expected to recommend formal negotiations on accession.
Moldova’s deputy prime minister, Nicolae Popescu, said such a move would be a big milestone for his country. “It will be a truly historical achievement and a truly historical chance to make sure that Moldova consolidates its place in the EU,” he said.
Late on Tuesday, Ukraine’s president, Volodymyr Zelenskiy, said that his country was “preparing our next steps” to join the bloc, including by strengthening its institutions, although he acknowledged that this would require work by Kyiv to “adapt to EU standards”.
“Ukraine will be in the EU,” Zelenskiy said, in his nightly television address.
A 1,200-page report will be published after midday on Wednesday and its recommendations will go to a summit in December for final signoff…..

The Russia's command center of the VDV Dnepr group, in charge of Kherson operations, was struck by a missile attack on November 1st. Three Airborne colonels amongst the dead.

I can´t see Ukraine winning without being allowed to strike targets across the border with Western weapons. Ukraine needs a serious 500-1000km strike capability. The odd drone flying into Russia won´t make a difference. If the West won´t allow it at least help Ukraine get its domestic Hrim (or similar size) missile into series production. Give Russia some of her own medicine.

The bridge by all means, but why the construction yard? It is not doing anyone any harm at the moment, the only ship that was close to operational they destroyed, nothing else in the yard under construction really looks close yet so let them waste time money and energy on them.
Remember at some point Ukraine will regain Crimea from Russia and the yards will be useful to them, so why destroy a yard that is not servicing a warship nor close to producing one. There is no point wasting valuable long range weapons on something that isn't at the moment contributing to Russia's War.
