It is going to take forever to refloat and move her out of the dry dock with that piddly little hose.

However, It does explain the vessel parked across the front of the dock gates in the satellite images, it's a fire boat, also looking at the jet of water, it appears to be aimed at the adjacent dry dock where the submarine is situated.

Thanks for that, not seen it before, the way Russia is losing ships etc, in 2 - 3 years they will be lucky to have a Coracle in service, and the front should have moved past Moscow
His by now 3 or 4 year old BMW or other, will be sitting on bricks do to a lack of spares and he will be wiping his ass with Rubles, those being cheaper than toilet paper..
Solovyv will be still moaning at the loss of his villas on Lake Como and the fact the Italians are now housing migrants in them.

He doesn’t just pull the pin, he then throws the grenade….

A typical day in Russia:

An occupier who returned from the front offered a boy to pull the pin of a grenade, but after the boy refused, he decided to do it himself.

The neighbors did not appreciate the game of the veteran.

These high grade steel alloys "have broad military applications: They are being used in artillery barrels, armored vehicles, body armor, and more. They cannot be substituted with ordinary bulk steel without catastrophically weakening the result. After Putin’s reforms cut off subsidized and “unprofitable” Russian military industries to cut costs, Russia’s military-grade steel industry essentially died entirely." (Daily KOS)
yes, the UK wouldn't do such a stupid thing as to close down our core steel production and flog off the remainder..... Would we.

Do you mean to tell me that China can't make these steel alloys and sell them at a premium price to Russia?
There are no likely sources of hard steel alloys for large scale exports to Russia. (Daily KOS) "Russia very likely has run through any stock of replacement barrels it may have stockpiled, and also has likely been keeping its 152 mm artillery fielded by cannibalizing parts from older towed howitzers." (Daily KOS).
Color me skeptical.

Some 🇺🇦Ukrainian media, citing their sources, report that yesterday an experimental "Sea Baby" (marine drone) of the Security Service of Ukraine damaged the 🇷🇺Russian missile ship "Samum".

As reported, not far from the entrance to the Sevastopol Bay "Sea Baby" hit the rear right part of the Russian ship, causing significant damage, the ship lost its course.

The Russians had to tow "Samum" for repairs with a large fairing on the stern and a crane on the starboard side.

For this attack, the Security Service of Ukraine used an experimental model of a marine drone, which is capable of operating in a storm, hiding from detection behind high waves. During the special operation, the height of the waves reached 1.5 - 2 m.

We are waiting for video confirmation.

The British Army has unveiled the Hydra 400 drone, which can launch Brimstone missiles.

At the Defence Security and Equipment International Exhibition and Conference (DSEI), representatives of the British Army said that the Hydra 400 "will offer the capabilities of an Apache attack helicopter but will fit in the trunk of a Land Rover".

According to them, it takes only six minutes to prepare the unmanned aerial vehicle for launch. The Hydra 400 will be able to carry up to three Brimstone air-to-ground missiles and will be able to destroy enemy vehicles within a radius of more than 32 km.

So far, the Hydra 400 exists in the form of a prototype. By the end of the year, the British Army plans to test the unmanned aerial vehicle during military exercises.

However, according to the military, due to bureaucratic nuances, the drone is likely to enter service only in five years….

I recognise that parking lot. Seriously, it is about 1k from my present position - what a small world it is!

Of course that would be the case, the prisoner exchange will happen after Vlad has popped over to The Hague for a wee chat. Oh, wait, Andrey says... what? Mobiks are planning to be on a... winning team?

As 200's or 300's they get home faster, and as POWs they get home without harm, and with some dignity intact. Decisions, decisions.

Can they give these guys directions to Vosdvizhenka str. 1. Moscow 121019? or failing that, to 3, Ulitsa Ilyinka, 103132, Moscow. Its just across the sewer from the Kempinski hotel. Spreading the Mir, one grenade at a time.

I take it the turbines provide the lift needed to carry the payload, and the propellers are for control. Are there similar hybrid drones, or is this a first?

The Lunar Landing Research Vehicle worked in a similar way, albeit piloted, with rockets for attitude control.
