It also appears that in the middle of all of this panic and having reports of saboteurs the Russian police and army had a firefight killing a few of themselves.

That Minsk is as happy as the other Minsk where Sasha fluffs about wishing to be Vlad's bestie, apparently now lower on the totem pole than Kim. If they try really hard, they can always repurpose the Minsk as a protectorate for the Kerch dolphin safe areas. "kill two boats with one storm shaddow" sort of speak. Or, they can upgrade her to the Admiral Kuznetsov standard, post fire, that'll be a Projekt 775 1/2, or day VFR limited. In the meantime, there is a bit of a premium on dry dokkers for the Russki fleet. They are fast approaching the same standard as the 1905 Imperial fleets efforts to sail from St Pete's to Port Arthur, under the trusty gaze of Admiral Zinovy Rozhestvensky. This led to shooting their own ships on the cruise, being outmanoeuvred and outgunned by the Dogger Bank fishing fleet, mutiny in Madagascar, much to King Julien's delight, and then being outclassed by the Japanese fleet at the straits of Tsushima. The Black Sea Fleet is approaching the same level of 6th floor window risk as Grand Fleet Admiral Anchovy rose to (sank?).

And of course the seizing of their rigs and removal of the Russian monitoring equipment.

The return of these towers to Ukrainian control is of great value, as they were used by the Russians not so much as SAM sites to cover their warships, but first and foremost as platforms for all sorts of monitoring, control, and surveillance sensors, expanding the Russian operational capabilities. The Defense Intelligence of Ukraine deprived the Russians of many monitoring and intelligence capabilities by knocking them out of these towers. This step was crucial not only in Ukraine's struggle for the Black Sea but also for more space for its coastal and air operations.

I'm a bit puzzled about these rigs. Initially I thought that they were occupied by Russia and then Ukraine took them back, but looking at the video, it seems they raided them ( video doesn't mention any combat, therefore perhaps unmanned ) and removed the radar installation and weapons, before returning to Ukraine. Russia has lost equipment - principally radar coverage - but the rigs are now simply unmanned again and not a Ukrainian "base" as I i believed. following firrst coverage.

Kilo class Rostov-na-Donu, diesel-electric submarine, sounds healthier for the Sevastopol environment than a nuclear-powered one if similarly destroyed.

Depends on what they left them, they could have mined it and the helipad making it a problem to reboard.

Romania announces it has found the wreckage of another Russian drone.

This time, the Russian drone struck Nufarul Victoria, 15 km south of the Ukrainian border.

Romania is a NATO state!

Storm Shadows and the German equilivant

So what did another wunderwaffe Storm Shadows and the German Equilivant actually hit? And I'm sure another wunderfaffe like ATACMS will solve the problem. Are you sure you're not blowing your load prematurely lads? You know that southern Ukrainian front worse than Stalingrad in terms of the Sappers?

Unlike Hitler’s ‘wonder weapons’, which were militarily useless, Storm Shadow and other similar Western weapons systems are busily taking Putin’s thugs apart piece by piece.

But the point is, can they replenish more or less visa vis those strikes. How many Storm Shadows can U.K produce in a year?

WOW, the burnt remains you are looking at is the Russian landing ships superstructure, or what was. There is NO buffing that out.

I guess we’ll find out, but I wouldn’t stand near any Russian military installations if I were you.
