Three Ukrainian Air Force pilots killed in tragic accident on August 25:

Captain Andriy "Juice" Pilschikov
Major Serhiy Prokazin
Major Vyacheslav Minka

All three were experienced pilots with vast combat record... now gone in the sky forever.

I think they’re confused as to the purpose and origins of piano burning in the RAF. But they’ve made it their own….

Ukraine’s Outspoken MiG-29 Pilot “Juice” Killed During Mission

….One series of videos, originally published by the Operational News of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, shows a traditional tribute paid to the fallen pilots through a piano-burning: a ritual that is said to date back to the World War II-era U.K. Royal Air Force and which has since been adopted elsewhere, too. The original tweet with those videos also revealed the callsigns of the other deceased pilots: “Minka” and “Prokazin.”

Lavrov at it again, now threathening the EU with naval blockade if more sanctions are presented.
Just one question, how would he intend to do that...

Their RIB's aren't proving too effective on the Dnipro, so perhaps considering redeployment

Very interesting vlog by Ryan Mcbeth* where he analyses the Tucker Carlson interview with Col (ret'd ) Macgregor - heavy-duty Russian apologist - and the likely veracity of his claims.

According to sources quoted by RBC Ukraine, #Ukraine's Security Service attacked the Kursk airfield at night, using drones.

Among the targets were four Su-30 aircraft, one MiG-29, an S-300 radar and two Panstir air defense systems.

Almost all of the drones hit their targets, with only three being intercepted by Russian air defenses.

Stuka crews realised they could sink a ship with a near miss during the Battle of Britain. The blast would buckle plating, bulkheads and the ship would sink.

That poor child. You can see at one point he/she tries to get close to one of the adults. Maye tries to hold onto its leg ... and they just leave it stranded

Still bloody poignant though.

Another Wagner Cemetery destroyed, Russia is making a point. Or is it? Apparently they are modernising both graveyards and the crosses will be replaced with “granite tank traps” on the graves.

Latest news from the front.

In another crazy story, in the vicinity of #Robotyne, 52 Russian soldiers beat the commander and surrendered with him to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It all started with the mobs complaining about the lack of food and ammunition, after which things spiraled out of control.
