Update:
Wanted war criminal and former FSB officer Igor Girkin reports:

"Apparently, the enemy resumed the offensive on the Vremevsky ledge (south of Velyka Novosilka), heavy fighting is reported, alarming information comes from the area north of Bakhmut, just where the understaffed units of the 3rd Army Corps are deployed on our side. The enemy in that area has an advance, how deep - I can’t say, there is little information. But there urgently went reserves."

It is reported that a warehouse was struck by the AFU in occupied Yakymivka, occupied Zaporizhzia region. This town is a logistical (railway) hub between Crimea and Melitopol and was subject to strikes earlier.

Test: This morning the Moscow region was attacked by unknown drones. An explosion is reported on the territory of a military unit in Kubinka, the neighboring Vnukovo airport has stopped accepting aircraft.

This report contains Twitter video ( which works ) showing recovery operations for damaged armour at Mala Tokmatschka i ( Leos and Bradleys caught in artillery fire/mines on June 8th). What is interesting is both that the AFU has now advanced enough to recover them , but also the numbers involved. Total given as 25 which is many more than I believed were involved at the time.

Leopard tank repair depot in Gliwice, Poland:

This operation should have opened in May to maintain and repair Polish and German Leo's donated to Ukraine, however it hasn't.. The reason is that there is a disagreement over the price that the Polish arms manufacturer,
Bumar-Labedy, wants for the work which Germany finds far too high. It's very strange to me that this wasn't settled months ago when agreeing to set up the operation. Pistorius, the German Defence Minister, has set a deadline of 10 days to reach agreement.

The Hague: International Centre for the Prosecution of Crimes of Aggression against Ukraine https://www.dw.com/de/ukraine-aktuel...rum/a-66095756

This body has just taken up its work as part of Eurojust. It brings together prosecutors from Ukraine, the EU, the USA and the International Criminal Court who will gather evidence of crimes committed by Russia in preparation to prosecute these acts and their perpetrators.

Indeed not. I can however see a situation where the more immediately threatened members adopt their own joint initiative in expanding and upgrading Ukraine's military capabilities.

Hasn't that already happened?

I understand that Poland and Estonia are making significantly greater (in GDP percentage wise) than most of the other NATO partners.

It makes total sense.

Jens Stoltenberg remains NATO Secretary General until October 1, 2024. The decision to keep Stoltenberg in office was made in order to preserve unity and stability during Russia's war against Ukraine.

Ballcocks...

Unfortunately, today the Russians shot down "Storm Shadow" for the first time...
I tend to agree, what about you?

This was likely a malfunction as there’s no visible damage. Russian will reverse engineer this missile and incorporate its stealth technology to its own. China will pay big bucks for this trophy too.

It does not really help when you teach the Ukrainians western tactics, but one thing those tactics depend on is airpower and you then do not provide it when needed.

"Training of Ukrainians on the F-16 was supposed to begin in June" - Kuleba The training includes not only the training of pilots, but also engineers, as well as the creation of infrastructure and "making the necessary legal decisions." P.S. Was supposed to begin...
"The training did not start. There was a promise to start training in June from one of the countries, now they say that they are continuing preparations for the start of training, they made a mistake in the calculations, they need more time" - Kuleba
"The training of pilots and technical personnel, as well as the provision of logistics that can support these aircraft, will not be available until the counteroffensive is completed" - said the chairman of the NATO Military Committee, Rob Bauer.

It just amazes me what the Ukrainians can do when they put their mind to it.. Imagine this in the UK!

MAKS 23
"The construction of the main water pipelines for the territories affected by the terrorist attack at the Kakhovska HPP has begun" - the Minister of Infrastructure
The waterworks will consist of 3 links with a length of ~150 km and will be able to provide water to at least 1 million people in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Mykolaiv Oblast, Kherson Oblast and Zaporizhzhia.

At the moment, the most alarming situation for the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation is in the Orichovsky direction:
On June 28-29, the Russian counterattack, which was intended to push the Armed Forces back to the minefields north of Robotyny, failed. This had serious consequences - for the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
In the early morning of June 30, the Ukrainian Armed Forces entered Novopokrovka, and then attacked it at close range, forcing the Russian garrison to flee in panic. In response, the 58th ZVA transferred special forces there (probably the 45th brigade), which saved the situation so much that they still hold the southern side of the village.
However, later (on July 1) the Armed Forces penetrated the junction between BARS-3 (defended by Robotyn) and the 70th motorized rifle regiment (defended the area between Robotyn and Verbov).
Russian positions collapsed again, which allowed the Armed Forces to drive a wedge in the direction of Novoprokopivka (defended by the 1430th motorized rifle regiment). It is not known how far this offensive went, but it is clear that our actions continued for at least 48 hours without a break, exhausting the Russians as a result.
There is no doubt that as soon as the Russians threw part of the 22nd Special Forces Brigade and several tanks to block this move, the main position of the 22nd Brigade was attacked by the ZSU, this time on the eastern flank of the Russians, in the direction of Verbovoi (defended by the 417th Reconnaissance Battalion ).

Waggoneer's revenge? Assume they know a thing or two about drones and IED's now, and they surely have an enemy, the one in the crimlin, not the Ukrainians at this time. ("Enemy of my enemy" etc....)

Good, at the moment there is a 13KM queue to get onto the Kerch bridge heading into Crimea, it is Russians going on holiday, a few bangs along the coast might get the old rings puckering amongst them, I did wonder if this sudden surge of "tourists" is moscow led to prevent strikes on the bridge if packed with civilians

An explosion is reported in the center of Sevastopol near Ostryakova Ave.
The traffic jam at the entrance to Crimea from the Russian main land reached 13 kilometers. The local authorities of the occupied Crimea notes that this is due to the influx of tourists. Governor Aksyonov promised to solve the problem even when the traffic jams were 5-6 km long.
Easily fixed, whistle up a couple of Ukrainian missiles and no point queuing anymore.

The Kubinka air base near Moscow has been attacked with UAVs. The scale of damage is still unknown

The front lines in that area have been frozen for the last five days just north of Novopokrovka, and haven't moved significantly since May, so it makes much more sense that this battle has taken place eleven miles north of where it is shown on that map.

Surely, Russians going on holiday to the Crimea must be an indication that they just don't have a clue about the real situation. I do think that it is time for UAF to update them!

Hmmmm, I thought there was an issue with the Crimean water supply. How will they bathe all these tourists?
