Is Ukraine about to have a war?

Ruddy great flamer. Looks abandoned. Tank behind doesn't look in very good shape either. Using drones to prevent the recovery of damaged tanks. Interesting idea.

Are you folks forgetting about the many types of Kamikaze Drones in existence?
Any number of ways of turning that aircraft in a useless pile of junk.
You suppose a cruise missile would suffice?
Or...did they wish to prove a point and cause that airfield to be made a. risky place to park an aircraft of any kind?

Ukrainian intel believes Russia will run out of resources to commit to further action by the end of spring and that a coming battle will see the end of the war.

They did that in Blackpool once - no seriously. It was called the Loos trenches and was a way of giving people an idea of what was going on across the channel and of course to raise money for veterans. Nothing left of it now of course

Further report of drone attack A50 Mainstay
Eurasian Times makes the following report.
" The organization claimed that two DJI drones effectively modified into kamikaze drones were used in the assault on the A-50.
Some reports claimed each drone contained 200 grams (0.4 pounds) of TNT explosives and about 200 metal balls. However, the result of the attack has not yet been independently verified.
But, it appears that at least one drone could approach the A-50 near enough to land on it, though it is yet unknown how much damage was done to the $330 million AWACS. "

If correct, the very small explosive load would explain the lack of damage and underline the fact that this was carried out by a group with very few resources ( which surprises me somewhat ).

That is what is known as a target rich environment!
The ISW's latest assessment:
The Ukrainians are almost surrounded - they have the Orcs just where they want them.
As for coming events, I suggest remembering Severodonetsk, where the Ukrainians retreated to west of Pyvovarova street and as soon as the Orcs rushed in to what they thought was a vacancy, the Ukrainians surged out and slaughtered huge numbers of Orcs before abandoning the town.
I think most of this talk that has been going on for over a week at every news outlet about how the Ukrainians are on their last leg in Bakhmut has been spread by Ukrainian intelligence.
As of right now, they're still holding ground on the east bank of the Bakhmut river.
The Ukrainian defense of Bakhmut remains strategically sound as it continues to consume Russian manpower and equipment as long as Ukrainian forces do not suffer excessive casualties.
Ukrainian forces are unlikely to withdraw from Bakhmut all at once and may pursue a gradual fighting withdrawal to exhaust Russian forces through continued urban warfare.....................

So where did they come from, to be in Poland awaiting transport to USA if it wasn't from an EU country? Whether the deployment was for a NATO exercise or not does not really invalidate the original statement.
They should be asking for Putin's "Dear Bleader's" to surrender.
The only thing Russia seems able to do is hurt their reputation while they "win the hearts and minds" of the next few generations of neighbours. They appear to assume that everyone else will forget their abuse and lack of culture as they do with a bottle of Vodka. There is more chance of Putin surviving a 16th story window drop onto a pavement than Ukrainians ever forgiving or trusting Russia after his criminal actions.
Baltic
There seems to be a lot of interest around the Baltic area recently, tankers loitering and 2 x B52 refuelling over Poland just now. Many other assets all the way down the borders to the Black Sea as well.

Ramzan Kadyrov, one of Vladimir Putin's closest allies who advocated for using nuclear weapons against Ukraine, has allegedly summoned a leading doctor from the UAE because he 'does not trust' Moscow doctors.
Several opposition sources’ claim Kadyrov may have been poisoned and is suffering from a kidney illness.
The Chechen leader's luxury private jet was known to have made several trips recently to the UAE, and he has been less visible than usual in recent weeks.
Kazakh journalist Azamat Maytanov citing his own sources claimed Kadyrov may be terminally ill, with poisoning the possible cause.
Maytanov wrote on his Telegram channel:
There is information that the chief nephrologist of the UAE, Dr Yasin Ibrahim El-Shahat, a well-known doctor with 30 years of experience, has arrived in Grozny [the capital of Chechnya]. His area of expertise lies in nephrology, dialysis, transplantation, glomerulonephritis, and acute renal failure. Kadyrov is allegedly very bad and has serious kidney problems.
Kadyrov was poisoned by the GRU, sources claim
People have noticed Kadyrov’s surprising absence from Vladimir Putin's state of the nation speech in Moscow last month and his 'bloated' appearance at the recent meetings in his palace in the Chechen capital Grozny. The reason behind them may have been found.Several opposition sources’ claim Kadyrov may have been poisoned and is suffering from a kidney illness.

The leader of the Wagner Group has demanded that the Russian military send his mercenary troops ammunition immediately. Yevgeny Prigozhin, founder and leader, who is on the frontline in the fight for Bakhmut, issued the demand under a veiled ultimatum. He warned that if his troops did not receive any more ammunition, they would retreat and the entire Russian frontline would collapse. The threat was delivered in a four-minute video message recorded Sunday night near Bakhmut.
Mr Prigozhin said the retreat of mercenaries from Bakhmut due to "ammunition shortage" would lead to the collapse of the front up to the Russian border "or even further," adding Crimea would also fall to Ukraine.
The Wagner chief said: "If Wagner retreats from Bakhmut now, the whole front will collapse.
"The situation will be unpleasant for all military formations protecting Russia's interests."
