EGXC RAF Coningsby Monday 15/12/08

On my Holidays from work, so decided to go down to Coningsby for some photo Practice.
It was overcast & gloom but here is the best of the bunch from 318 photo's i took today.
Hope you like my choice;

"Fazer one one" spent the best part of 45 mins doing Missed approaches on radar talkdown before landing;

"Triple Ex One & Two" waiting for departure;

This must be new as there are no Sqn markings on it yet;

Air Traffic were giving them thier departure details

The Harrier Tracked down the runway to near where i was & hovered then decended to land in the Square in front of me.... AWESOME!!!!!

Not sure if he was looking at me to see if i was finished photographing him, he waited a while till i looked over the camera then taxied to the runway. Thanks!!!

Thanks for looking the last ones from the harrier onwards were taken in very poor light so apologies for the quality.

Some fantastic photographs there, and what an excellent variety of aircraft!

You should be very proud of your talent, the focus is almost perfect.

Short answer, Yes!

41(R) is the plate given to the FJOEU at Coningsby.

Nothing to be sorry for - thanks so much, you've made my dull, gloomy day here in London!
