Wg Cdr Andy Prior RAF Rtd

With great sadness, I have to announce that Dr Andy Prior recently died after a brave fight against cancer.

A few will remember him from his early days as a Station MO at Odiham but it will be his time as an Aviation Medicine Specialist with the RAF IAM and following organisations that will be remembered by most. Andy's contribution to the development of fast-jet anti-G protection systems and relevant aircrew training was immense. Anyone who has ridden the Farnborough Centrifuge over the last 20+ years will have met him and benefited from his prodigious knowledge.

The funeral is on Thursday 20th March at 1430 at St Phillip and St James Church, 91 Kings Road, Fleet, Hampshire. Anyone wishing to attend please advise to [email protected]. A location map and additional details can be provided.
