Ian "Mongo" Halden's sister, Jenny (Roberts), became a senior and highly respected family court judge, and has just died aged 71. Her obituary is in the weekend FT (and no doubt other places).
Condolences Jo on the death of your auntie, and Simon your sister.
The march of time is sadly relentless. Although it claimed Mongo (and CJ) far, far too early.

Actually I posted above before I had finished reading Jenny's obituary. The last sentence quotes a KC who says "They don't make judges like her any more".
Sadly, judging on the above posts, the same (of pilots and Officers) is likely true of her brother.
