Bits dropping off RAF helicopters?

Thread just started on rotorheads - quote:
"Just seen an item on my local TV news that RAF Benson are asking the public to look out for "a bit of helicopter" lost around the Didcot area, green and approximately 1' x 2' in size. The mind boggles..."
Any guys from Benson know any more?

The plug from a Chinook front door would fit that description, so may not be from Benson at all.

Admin,
Not to be too technical but during my last look at a Chinook Door plug, it was at least 40"" wide x approx 20" high. However we did go through a spate of losing round windows!!

There is an access panel on the underside of the Plastic Pig leading to a super secret gray box. That is roughly the size mentioned, but it is not green – more a sticky brown colour….
